§01 — OVERVIEW
WeXperience is a platform built around real-world cultural and business events, connecting African entrepreneurs, brands, and creators with international audiences and investors. Beyond a marketing site, it's a full content platform: a public site presenting live campaigns, a shop, and community content, backed by an admin dashboard that lets a non-technical team run everything themselves — publishing campaigns, managing brand showcases, and updating investor content without ever touching code.
§02 — CHALLENGE

One Platform, Two Very Different Audiences

The public site needed to feel cinematic and fast for visitors and investors, while the team behind it needed a genuinely usable dashboard to manage campaigns, media, and multilingual content without developer help for every change.

Real Events, Real Deadlines

Campaigns like the Senegal Is Calling NYC activation involve physical logistics — press dinners, fan zones, investor sessions — where programme details and content can change right up to the event. The platform had to support instant updates with zero downtime.

Bilingual by Default, Not as an Afterthought

Every piece of content — campaigns, testimonials, blog posts, investor materials — needed to exist cleanly in both French and English from day one, without content drifting out of sync between languages over time.

§04 — APPROACH
I designed and built the platform as three coordinated applications sharing a single source of truth: a versioned API at the core, a public-facing site built for speed and storytelling, and an admin dashboard purpose-built for the team's day-to-day — publishing campaigns, reordering homepage content, managing brand and testimonial showcases, and keeping French and English content in sync, all without a single deploy. I handled the entire stack myself, from the application architecture through to the infrastructure it runs on, so the platform could go from zero to a live, bilingual, multi-campaign product running real events like the Senegal Is Calling NYC takeover.
